If you zipped the fuker up the way it is, everyone would be tellin ya it looks great. Oh and by the way, yours looks better than the loght blue one with the flames.

First I think you've done a lot of work that looks great. A tip of the hard hat to you sir.
I'm a idiot and that said, I think the roof line problem, or at least the "flow problem" is the area above the quarter window, starting near the center of the window. This area appears to flatten out and not to follow the rest of the roof line. Since you have no fear of cutting, you might make a cut 2" above the driprail to the center of the quarter window and lower the roofline to see if you like the flow of the roof. I really like the work, I hope you can please yourself and finish the car. Good Luck

 

I agree with everyone else, the 1/4 windows look good this is just a rear window issue. I have researched chopping a sedan a lot and a majority of the realy good chops have the back window moved back and laied down more. I think the filler you have after the window is too big. The good chops usualy have a 4" or so strip from the original body line added you have a much larger.

I would suggest a shortter filler then also pie cut the sail pannel area some more to let the roof fall a little, and then smooth out the transition from the original roof to the window.

You've done a good job to this point! I'm sure you can figure out the rest. Here's an idea. I'm no professional. Though I do like to cut and weld metal. The rear roof is obviously too high (looks like stock location). You'll need to make 2 forward cuts from the sides of the rear window almost to the b pillar. The cuts need to be where the roof starts to drop off to the sides. Once both sides are cut. Lower the rear section of the roof so it follows the contour of the quarter windows. Then bend the remaining sides of the roof to overlap the center section of the roof. You'll need to cut slits or remove the supports to achieve a gradual bend for both the roof and the sides. Cut the sides from the inside along the edge of the center section. **** weld the 2 seams. Now if needed you can position the rear window farther back by cutting across the roof lip section and adding a strip. Finish the sail panels and filler panel. These may be a bigger challenge with the compound bends. Good luck.

 

Sounds like a lot of guys are behind you, so you came to the right place -- the HAMB. I have to agree, you're not too far off, AND I think you did the right thing by STOPPING and re***essing where you are. First to admit, I am not a shoebox Ford fan . . SO, I have to say they are WAY COOLER when chopped tastefully. Don't lose heart man, just keep 'er goin', and everything will ocme out way better than the stock look.

 

Some great advice already posted, simply what I see is that you didn't cut the "C" pillars high/forward enough to let the rear of the roof slope properly.Don't give up, metal is easy to cut, rework or replace.
