shoebox chop opinion...

    this might be a stupid question, but when you guys are measuring your chops in the front are you measuring vertical distance or distance along the windshield. And where are you measuring for the back distances?

    When I cut mine I asked the same questions. Typical measurement on the windshield (A pillar) is along the pillar and for the C pillar is vertical from the beltline at the bottom of the sail panel.

    i did 5 in the front and 6 in the back and laid the rear gl*** down,keeping the same distance between the trunk and the back gl*** as stock.

    Here's mine. 5.5 and 7.5 in rear with back window moved forward 5 inches or so. Also top of windshield brought up to make window larger and bring the top of the windshield and side windows into the same plane.     I'll be posting the chop process on my 50, going 4 at the A pillar and 4 n half in rear...moving the rear window up and lengthening the trunk deck...check out my build...chop pics in the next week or so
