OK guys this cars doing my head in , I've done my homework spent hours on the net and forums before I change my hard earned £ into $ and spent them , So I've go astro springs 2" drop and 2" blocks on rear , swapped the flatty for a 302 and car is a bit high at the front , didn't want tail draggin but wanted car level , so next step shoebox central dropped spindles and steering arms ( these turned out to be fatman product ) , car sits just right but caliper hits upper A arm can't drive the thing , **** kit is jamco , so back to stock spindles , Anyone had this problem , from all my research this should have worked . Now looking for stock front springs and will try the dropped spindles again but can only finr lowering springs no stock any help would be great Mike frustrated England
Years ago I ran Jamco springs with Fatman dropped spindle uprights and ECI disk kit which I believe at the time were Ford Aerostar rotor with spacer plus GM midsize (metric) caliper. I note Jamco site currently offers a disk kit for dropped uprights. Maybe contact them and see if the drop mounting bracket locates caliper differently.
I purchased fatmans dropped uprights for my 49' club coupe. The lead time was a lot but when I had them in my hands it was worth it , quality and fit/finish is top notch. Sent from my VS835 using Tapatalk
