My 50 is squeaking really bad in the front. I lost my service manual some years ago and I was wondering if anyone could scan the section that shows the lube points. Im pretty sure there are a lot of grease fittings on a stock 50 Ford front suspension and I dont want to miss any.
like I learned years ago lubing trucks.....look anywhere there is a moving part...there is probably a grease zerk there..(applies only to a REAL vehicle; probably pre 60s)
Damn,,, That's pretty lame. It won't hurt you to look, feel, and crawl around your car's front end and driveshaft and look for grease fittings. I used to grease all makes and models of cars, and the trick to hitting every fitting was to simply look and feel. Besides, it will help you get to know your car better. Also, look around for any other problems you might see while your under there. Oh, and if the front end is worn, it might get pretty loose after you lube it, especially if it is making noise beforehand. Be prepared from some roadwalking, shimmying, and vibration due to freshly lubed worn front end suspension and steering parts. SAFU
