Greetings all, I`m just about ready to lift my 1950 Ford 2 dr, body off the frame. Do I need to remove the steering box and steering column first? Thanks in advance.

You can unbolt the steering box from the frame and disconnect the pitman arm from the drag link. That way you can lift the body off and leave the steering column intact. Don't forget the horn wire that comes out of the bottom of the steering box. It should have a bullet connector.
