good question. The only off the shelf ones that I can name are sandersons, the super tight block huggers.

    That's what I'm using

or you can modify a rams horn with a pie cut.

If you do a search for a shoeboxford builders guide on here I know I posted some info on headers. Good luck! It's tiiiiight!!!

Very tough to find a set of headers that fit off the shelf, although I've heard people claim to do it, I never see part numbers.

$245 , I've had them in for years with no gasket and never any leak.

acutally 50fraud sold me some(thanks!)so that's where I got mine.

You could probably run almost anything on the p***enger side and just make one for the driver's side . That's what I had on mine, just a flange going into a straight pipe(fence post) and downpipe to theh mufflers.

look up the turbo sbc fed build for a great looking example

I'm so mad I didn't keep mine, i tossed them out.

I bought the el cheapo $70 block hugger center dump headers from ebay, I had to cut the flange off of the drivers side, turn it about 60 degrees and weld it back on.Its a tight fit but with a little work they'll fit.

I'll bet something like these ebay searches could find something:

GM 350-5.7 CHEVY EXHAUST MANIFOLD RIGHT 1996-99 #9442

GM 350-5.7 ENGINE EXHAUST MANIFOLD, LEFT 1996-99 #9443

    88-94-chevy truck - 350 RH &LR EXHAUST MANIFOLD

CHEVROLET 305/350 88-95 TRUCK EXHAUST MANIFOLD

1970 CHEVY FIREBIRD 350 400 LEFT STD EXHAUST MANIFOLD

I'm using some funky cast aluminum, I think, off brand weirdo things, but I'd suspect any of these should work.

The key is to have the exit end of the manifold BEHIND the last cylinder and NOT BETWEEN cylinders.

FWIW I did the ebay exhaust manifold tango and got no joy. the guys at shoebox ford forum shot all of them down, IIRC

They all *look* like they should fit, but if it was really that easy, why haven't we heard about it before?

A million guys have gotten the wrong manifold or headers, it's a real trick.

The more I think about it the more I think some guy found another cheap-er header or application that fit out of the box, you might try searching the shoeboxford.com forum

For some reason I didn't add it to the shoebox ford faq tech, maybe he didn't give the name of the headers or something

like DV said the trick is with the exit, you can probably make any of those stockers work if you take a pie cut out of them , heat, bend weld, voila!

if you're gonna do that, grab a rams horn like I suggested , they're pretty cheap and most importantly lotsa people have used them before.

if you want something out of a box you can bolt on the sandersons work and they're great, I'm impressed, but theyy're no $99 blackjack headers
