    Ok, I am an idiot...
I have never actually needed to pull the cluster out of my car. Here goes question....

Can the cluster bezel and glass be removed from the cluster from the front (towards the steering wheel) or can you only pull the cluster back through the dash???
My gasket between the glass and the bezel has come loose and is hanging down inside my cluster...
I thought that I could carefully pry the bezel off, re-set the gasket and that push the bezel back in place...
Can I do this... and if so, will the cluster fall out the back and get me into a big project?
I need to clean the inside of the glass as well....
    thanks-
    HC

If i remember right you have to pull it out form the back, don't think it was that big of a pain though. You've got the post count of the beast goin' on...

    hank,
If ya look in the tech section on shoeboxford you will see how to brighten the dash lights. I haven't tried it but I'm gonna try it.

Its kind of a pain in the**** if you have the original wiring. Make sure you mark all the wires & where they go because although they were somewhat color coded when new they are probrably all tan now. Also try to use some finesse when moving the wires around because the cloth insulation starts crumbling when being handled after 50+ years of being dormant.
    Good luck.
