Hey guys besides the $55 special order Monroe shocks listed for the rear of a 50 shoebox...anyone have a Monroe part number that works well ...and should I change the angle using 3 inch blocks and shorter 51 shackles? Thanks for your help Chop Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I'm using the posies lowering rear springs and the shocks that I run are monroes from pep boys, they cross reference to 65 chevy 1/2 ton pick up. 79 chevy monza v8 up front with the aerostar coils and the stock ford lower shock mount. If your running drop spindles be sure to trim off the excess thread on the front shocks or you will hit the thread on something. Very happy with the ride.
