50 Ford coupe, 335" Olds engine, 57 Ford Interceptor 3 speed OD, 52 Mercury station wagon 4.27 rear axle.
Stock 50 Ford sedan, SW 2 5/8" vacuum gauge adapted to the gutted electric clock case. SW 2 5/8" engine oil temp gauge lower left. Red Dice - most important....
Seems I see alot of 49-54 Fords with 'late model' Olds V8s...307,350,403 ond even the 425 and 455 variants. Don't know WHY...but they are about the most reliable torquers on the PLANET, so it ain't a bad thing! Me personally...Y-block, Windsor or Cleveland!
Here's the link to the shoebox pics. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=229696&page=&view=&sb=5&o=&fpart=1&vc=1
