Soon to be reborn...just two bits of advice...

If you insure with Hagerty make sure you look into Cherished Car Salvage benefit...AND be real careful at McDonald's Exits...

I was a bit racked but am getting over the bruises...

So it’s not just me! That shop looks like home to me…

Do you find yourself tripping on stuff occasionally?

The 51 is still on the lift. The roadster frame has moved under the lift and the V8 Corvair has moved into the main work area
The ****ing gold metal flake is everywhere..... really dumb idea

The rake on that radiator is a little extreme, isn't it;)? All kidding aside, glad it's nothing more than bruises.

Tripping is more like "tipping", with my balance disorder. I was on a step ladder the other day hanging a neon sign on the garage wall, my eye's decided the ladder was tipping (it wasn't) so my body compensated. Now it was tipping and I just about ended up *** over tea kettle...and I hate tea ('cept long islands). Got garage cleaning to do, just no ladders.

    I feel your pain Billy.
10 years ago I had a severe ear infection, lost 50% hearing in my left ear and really screwed up my sense of balance.
When I walk, I have to look straight ahead. If I look left or right, or look down, I walk like a drunken sailor...compensating for feeling off-balance although I'm not. Never really got much better...just learned to live with it, and try not to fall down. LOL

Are you working on another T? Did you make a quick*** booth to keep the flake contained?
