Unholy crap! I just did a triple take wondering if your truck was this old '32 I lost track of on the road: 70+ year old patina doesn't get much closer~
here's the super service special... got injection and computers and electronics but i don't care, it starts right up in the winter and idles itself warm. photo 2 shows the 9000 lb. winch that makes loading cars on the trailer easy.
Driven, and used everyday as a real shop truck. (Insane Designs) 62 short bed, Straight 6 and 3 on the floor. Haul - pull - tow - yank - run over - dosent make any diffrence, thats what I built it for.
I don't have a shop, but here's my grocery getter... Someone on here owns this '58. I love this truck -
Here a pic of my dads 51' 302, toploader, 9inch...... it looks like shit in these pics though, he needs to get it in all one color of primer.
This one is just too cool ! And 296moon, damn man ! Your truck just looks mean man ! Nicely done ! Todd
My daily driver is a '62 Holden (GM Australia) ute (coup utility/Hollywood hauler). Like most "shop trucks" it's a bit rough. However it's complete, reliable and tidy. In Oz, utes are like pick up trucks in the USA,very popular. Mine carries everything from garden supplies and shopping to engines and parts. I can't do photo's, but if Chevrolet did a '56 El Camino it would look like my ute.
This "Ole Hoss" has hauled stuff for me for almost 30 yr's It's still got a 235 in it (I'm on my third one) I sure wish it could talk, Its been a good friend. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=232245&highlight=topolino
This is my 49 Chevy I've had for about 15 years , original paint , rebuilt 235 otherwise stock . This picture was taken when I rented it to "White Zombie" for one of their videos . That's Rob Zombie on the left . This truck was down for a while after chipping some teeth on the ring gear and not wanting to spend a bunch rebuilding it . Got a good used complete rear end from a local HAMBER for $100 and now it drives like a new old truck again .
My daily driver '66 Ford SWB Custom Cab Boss 351 Cleveland. The last shot is the bed with '46 Hudson truck parts.
The only picture I have right now is the crappy one I took with my camera phone. I used it for my avatar. It started as a 46 ford. It now has a built 350 chevy with a tunnel ram and two Holleys with a 400 turbo. 108 inch wheelbase.
My latest .. got a thing for ol' wheelers too .. '46 WDX and '69 PW Crew ... Only threw the '69 in because she is going to get a '61 grill and dash ...
This is my shop truck. We have a few other kustoms but this old truck is my favorite of them all. We do not go to many shows but when i do it's usally in this truck. GB & Thanks. Rick Erickson of EXK 951 852-3593 21093 Grand ave Wildomar Ca 92595 EXTREME KUSTOMS www.ericksonskustoms.com
Here is my Shop Truck and future shop Vehicle. The first is a 1964 F100 short bed with a 292 yblock, I liked the way the truck looked so I just had it hand lettered with Gold Leaf and lowered it. My next toy is a 1949 Dodge Route Van.
GAWD I need to get some new pics... well here's mine doing what it does best, RANCH & FARM WORK. I trust this truck enough to go cross-country (at 45 mph) with no tools and no cell phone. The 226 Super Hurricane is still doing it's job better than ever. I put thousands of miles on this thing every year and drive it every chance I get. I'll never part with this one... Trying to find some lost cattle.... Good... ya'll can't really see me in this one LOL... damned cornfed hillbilly... Oh and in way of shop truck, I use it a lot for my sandblasting business. I've put 4000 pounds of bagged sugar sand in the bed and it pulls it just like there wasn't anything back there. It's slow loaded... and just as slow unloaded. Thank you optional 5.88 gears!
