candyman - what year is the frame & running gear in that truck? The wrap-around windsheild says 60-63 but the 5 lugs say something newer.

[/ QUOTE ] The truck is a 63 w/ a 350-350, the guy i bought it from changed the rear axel and put one from an 80`s camaro in it..need to make the front 5x5 now
This is the truck I count on as a shop truck. It belongs to a good friend of mine. Crate 350, 4 speed, headers, rebuilt front and rear ends, new brakes and a workin mo fo! It's got a for real shot gun blast thru the passenger door from the previous owner. Yikes!
I'm glad I wasn't sitting in the passenger seat! Door panel is all messed up. This ol truck drives great and I dig the 16.5, 8 hole slot mags but the thing doesn't have one straight panel on it. Not one.
SO i am I, sounds like my truck, I thought it was straight but, After removing about five pounds of bondo I'm going to get more fimilar with a hammer a dolie.
UNCLECHET, That truck kicks ass! I love those old chevy's.. I like them slammed etc..but it's cool to see a 4x4... kinda more my roots here in upstate NY.. Your's looks like it'll do some damage! Tony.
Yeah, I'm with you. I like em slammed but sometimes it's nice to have 4 wheel drive. And this old truck is for sure a "git er done!" kinda rig. Ron's getting ready to put a big winch up front. Should be even neater.
Closer shot of the chico's speed shop. Costa mesa CA since 51,Tryin to sell it in the local newspaper, hope you like it hambers. That's my buddy Chris Rocker driving it @ a Sinners cruize.
My 48 chevy x4door,ranger chassis with a chevy 305 350,so it is a real truck now (I guess!).I do have a real good caddy 425 sittin around too........ steve
Here is a pic of mine,,, Thank to Travis + Russell up in Sacto/Roseville CA Thanks Guys! Hakan Wellsville
cool post... heres mine for the umpteenth time..actually its someone elses now. it lives in walnut creek cal
here another of my old shop trucks, this was my first chop job, and was my work truck and daily for 8yrs.this is what the new owner does to the poor old girl!! and he wont sell it back to me
Glassguy those two trucks are great, that's too bad that the old chevy is laying out in the snow to rust. I'm originaly from Maine so I now what the north east winter does to metal!
oh its outta whack alright!!!!! thats what dumpin the clutch at 6 grand does to old shop trucks!! i think he lunched my muncie too
any relation to the barrows family in middlton mass, that invented the bowling pin setting machine???i sure cant blame you for getting out of this freezing hell hole!!it already snowed last nite WTF
I'm not sure about that, I'll have to ask my dad about it. There seem's to be two Barrows families in the area. I'm glad to be out of the freezing hell hole too, although the people here are different...I miss how friendl everyone is in New England. But on the other hand there is hardly any rust on the car's...
Here's mine built by Kool Kat, no bed floor yet so not really a shop truck but hopefully over the winter.
some DAYUM fine rides here!! Why haven't I heard of so many guys here having 58/59 Chevy's?? We have started in on the HACKSTORATION of our 58 GMC shorty fleetside and it's awesome to see so many of them on here. If you guys that own these trucks have some spare parts you might wanna sell, let me know!! Nice pics, keep em coming I guess this would be my summer shop truck
