Not a truck, but I drive it all the time, haul parts in it, and have considered lettering either the doors or rear side windows to give it a work truck feel. Scotch~!
My old '39 pickup. Ran 12.99 at the drags, drove all over the country and hauled engines, rubbish and furniture heaps of times as well.
a bit off both, the cab hood and grille are the way i recieved it, the box i built from scratch and made it look as close to the rest as possible, and then i had the doors lettered (you cant see in the pic very well) east side speed shop. it fools a hell of alot of people, the always try to think of where that shop was at!
Hey Mart, That's Carpy's old '58 short box but it sat a lot closer to mother earth when he had it.....Love the blue 55? chebby!
[ QUOTE ] choprods what's is that truck a custom? or production? [/ QUOTE ] That's an ultra low production '581/2 Elko. They only built 'em at the Elmer plant.

[ QUOTE ] The replacement? What was wrong with the first one? [/ QUOTE ] I sold it in 1988 to buy a business. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
Alright I was just on the gasser post and saw vontingler's shop truck behind his fairlane, so I'm asking him for some pic's.....please!
Here's mine, courtesy of Brewsir. It always has a stocked cooler, a tire/rim or 2 and sometimes an f100 door or hood in the bed.
My truck ain't all that old, but it looked decent and served time as both shop truck and daily driver. Its scattered over two counties now, waiting for me to redo it for the third or fourth time. Oldtin
Ok here's mine. You might have seen it around over the last 31 years and 293,000 miles. In real need of a refresh.
