Heres a pic of my new shop truk.I'll drive it for a while until I get my 57 GMC burb finished......Shiny
Hey KustmAce, I saw your Dad's Studebaker at a few cruise nights this summer and I have to tell you it is one of my favorite local trucks. There is so much detail and neat little doo dads on it that it is a treat for the eyes. Awesome truck! E
[ QUOTE ] here's the same photo, less fuzz [/ QUOTE ] I had a chance to get a couple of these not to long ago, but didn't think i could make um look cool enough, you proved me wrong.(shoulda grabbed um)
Hip, how many color's/layers was your truck before the stripping? I'm stripping mine now and have found three different paint jobs. Looks good in bare metal !
I have a vision for it, but i need something else to haul stuff/my ass in first, one thing´s for sure,it´s going to be loooow.

[/ QUOTE ] Barrows,I stopped counting after five on the bed, the other panels were snached from other trucks so they varied in thicknesses and i was going to debut it at the Rod tosser's show in bare metal but it wasn't and isn't registered yet. Soon.
Here's my version, shown "before": My little bro is doing some chassis work for me. Hopefully will be at Back to the 50's.
Thanks for bringing this old thread back. I've been thinking to start my own business and buying/building a new shop when moving back home. I started with buying a shop truck haha. Maybe Hudsonkustom will post a photo if I ask nice...?
That thing is awesome.......what year is it?........what size wheels and tires are you running? The stance is perfect....
At the risk of getting boooed out of the building, here's mine. She's a little new (if you consider a 27 year old truck "new"), but everyone asked for shop trucks. Not really a shop truck, more of a work truck. I drive her every day and she has never let me down. Matter of fact, there's a load of tires in the bed right now. It is soon to be a rare, late model, old style, mild kustom hauler.............E
Not much to look at now, but this is what I'm going to build. '56 Chevy with a 455 and right now a TH-400/10 bolt, but hopefully that will change to a T-56 and all wheel drive.
