thanks, I really dug the hudson, but it wasn't what I really wanted at the time and then $$$ got tight and it had to go. I'd like to find another cab and use it as a basis for a fenderless rod at some point.
Thanks, it's a '64. It has old straight spoked Americans on the back (8.5x15) and ET 5 spokes (6x15) on the front. Mickey Thompson 8 inch slicks and, I think, 560-15s up front. Working on getting it presentable again, it's all torn apart because I'm in the process of painting it. Was going to be lime gold but will be brick red oxide sealer/primer with black and tan Greek style striping. I want to enjoy this truck again before it goes down the road...
Suspension work is finished and I drove it around when I was home for my brother's wedding...fun truck.
Please don't touch the body or pait it or anything. It looks perfect. The faded military markings are Smokin' Baddd Assss!!!
heres my little work truck. ive hauled or towed damn near everything with this truck. whether its a 1300lb load or scrap junk or a 3200lb olds, its done it. the 456s in the rear help. i dont have anything on the door yet though. dont know what to put.
ok,old post, but cool post.soo.....you might remeber the first shot, well, here´s how it looked after some body work and a healthy 3,5" lovering, rear rims widened, and some of the trim/crome found it´s way back on.
My '56 El Camino in the '70s, built it when I was really poor. Had a shop at home repairing and painting cars to supplement my income. Drove it all over the place, hauling engines other supplies and junk. Once pulled into a salvage yard to sell some iron and the guy said "just pull it over with the other junk". Ended up trading it for a Model A.
Thanks, here's a side view, I need to close that gap above the rear wheel, don't you think? Maybe just another inch lower. I am planning to de-arch the rear spring. I already removed 3 leaves and it's a reverse eye spring so time to take the next step. Gotta get the stance right!!!! Opinions are welcome.
the oldest we have is a 92 Blazer with a Vortec supercharger and the dually is an 02 with a Duramax diesel that will pull a house down did I mention the shops race car...
