I cut the old drive shaft down to make me a very nice little 2 plus foot drive shaft.

DOES A DRIVE SHAFT HAVE TO RUN 100% STRAIGHT?? MINE LOOKS LIKE IT WILL GO TO THE RIGHT A BIT DUE TO THE OFFSET REAR END?
    Turbo350 to a 67 Camaro rear.

  2. Been a lot of 'em out of line over the years. I personally don't think that a little off will hurt much.
It is harder on u joints, but so's a short shaft. OH well.
Obviously if you can get it perfect you're going to be better off, but I've seen alot of old rods with really unperfect driveshaft angles.

thanks guys.... the angle is steep enough! The shaft may be done today if I can get the correct step joint.
