Technical Shortened 32 rolling chassis for a model A

    I like your idea a lot since part of what I like about the A's is the stubby nose stock length hood look. Part of what I don't like about A's on 32 rails is that you either run no hood or a really long one. It ruins the proportions for me. This gives you both.

    Don't be discouraged by the naysayers here, if it was up to them nothing new or creative would ever get built and every car would be black.
     
  3. I was looking at this old picture of a local car that was built 40 or so years ago...nose does not look excessively long to me. In fact I've never considered that an issue with A's on deuce frames. (And the extra engine space was a bonus.)

    Not from that angle. Nice to see it with a hood and an A shell. The true side profile would tell the story I bet.

    So the aesthetics are drastically different between 28-29 A's and the 30-31 A's. The potential project I am thinking would be a 30-31 coupe body.
