Does this car have the original jack in the trunk? If not, I may know of a Cadillac jack for sale that would work....not sure if it is for sale though.

Dude...are you for real? Your profile states that you are really into Impalas, but you come on here asking this question? If this car is for real at that price, why would you ask anyone if it sounds like a good deal? WTF do you think?

I think your just putting up a post...to put up a post

No don't buy it. Bad year and model. But if you really want it and can't afford it I will buy it and hold it until you come up with the cash to buy it from me. Kind of like a loan but I keep the collateral.

Anyone have a chain wheel and some dingle balls?

Dude, I don't like anything with a Bowtie on it or in it, and I'd jump on that just to make a profit from all the fellas that slobber all over anything with a SS on it. Buy it, sell it, and buy some real traditional hot rod stuff! :D

i'll tell you what. As a HAMBer you need some one to go look at that car for ya. and make sure you would be spending your money wisely. I offer that service for free. Just tell me where the car is. and the phone number to the seller. I will set up a meeting for me to go look at the car. If you dont hear back from me about the car it wasnt worth it for you to buy it.. ok?

dude..seriously.if that car is really going for 2700 bucks and you didnt buy it right than and there..it will probably be gone when you finally get of the couch and make up your mind..remember this..you snooze..you loose!..

    .
Man, I've never owned an Impala, most likely never will, but if I found one as you described, even a bit on the ragged, rusted side, I'd buy it.
Owning the bowtie breed as you do, this should be a no brainer.

.......buy it and make a gasser out of it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, it already has a 4 speed!

Sounds like the car may be disassembled. Have you seen it in person?

    I just sold my 65' Biscayne for $20K. $2700 is a bargain.

Are you serious? You say you know a bunch about cars and you're into Impalas but you don't know Gm transmissions? You don't know shit from shiney. Your " cars" must be really something to look at. Put them back on the shelf after you finish dusting 'em off.

    well.... euh... hmm...
    ya see what i mean?

you should see the prices in europe for such a car...
Then you'd probably not hesitate a tenth of a second...
Damn what are u waiting for? buy it.
And for the tranny I'd choose a 1966 "737 powerglide torqueflite".
it has a full manual valve body, and a magnesium case.
Not a numbers matching one, but a very tough tranny.
Some people are so unreal....The best post i have ever read.

heres the answer to your question/.......NO!

  29. it's not " 4 ", it's " fo' "; maybe you need a sideways hat and some baggy pants to say it right...

  30. Sorry, your right. I'm not to "fly" on the lyrics :D :D :D
