the hood will be ok that you have it has some extra holes for the 41 ford chrome but they can be welded the big thing you need is the correct hood latch and chrome spear that run down the top of the hood p.m me if you need i have a good bit of this stuff!! not a sale pitch but if you need!!later:D

It would be lowered some inches, hot powered but fenders and all metal will be there for sure. Dont like "bobbers"

my buddy has a 40 4dr conv that he runs with no hood. i think that truck would look cool with out the hood until you find the correct one. i say buy the truck. that thing looks really clean from the pics.

The differences between the '40 and '41 pickups are pretty minor. I love my '41. They are good-looking, the cab is big enough to be pretty comfortable, and the bed is big enough to be useful.

If I didn't know where mine went I'd sware that was my old truck. I'm partial so I'd say buy it! I know if I ever find another clean one I'll be buying!

Im still thinking about this one, good priced, the guy still got it. I know I aint gonna make a "bobber" out of it but wonder how much "hot rod" looking could a 40' truck get.

Yeah, nice ride. I want it rougher though. I would paint it flat or semi-flat black and use the 368 y-block on it.

The frame is the original one but has been modified with a Nova frontend and a Dana rear end. I may leave that for sometime though I dont like that setup at all.

Do you think the 40' frame should be reinforced for the
extra power ? boxing it would be enough ?

Are the front fenders from this truck the same 37-38 car fenders ?
The guy told me he got the fenders on it are from a car (the original ones were fare gone).

    Thanks guys
    Diego
