I've got a roadster project but it's on a shortened 50s Merc ch***is. I want to end up with a traditional A ch***is hotrod so I've started looking around for old bones. Trying to decide if I should piece it together a bit at a time or start with a roller or semi-roller. What do you think is best? I saw this on ebay. Was I stupid for not getting it? Did I miss a great opportunity, or is it common to find buys like this? -Ben
Depending on your "vision" of what you're building, plenty of stuff is available. http://www.peteandjakes.com/parts/modela.htm
Why don't you just make one. I think you did the right thing by p***ing it up cuz the only thing left from mine are the two frame rails and the rear cross member. The rest is in my way in the shop.
it has a lot of usable parts like front and rear crossmembers, rear spring, front axle, pretty much most everything minus the rear end and middle crossmember, just box the rails and z it in the rear and you would be in business. however, it is a good deal away from you and is going for a fair price so unless it is dirt cheap or pretty close then i would just be paitient untill the right one comes along.
