O.K. guys .It turns out it was a bad fuel pump. I had to pull that huge A.C. compressor out of the way to get to it.Put it in and she fired right up and the see thru filter is staying filled now. Now we will what happens tomorrow with the 56 Chrysler. I will keep you all posted and thanks for all the tips. DAMN I am sore now. Wish my shop had a lift. LOL. Bruce.

Here's a brilliant(?) Idea that solves everything. Trade for the Chrysler, sell it, then buy a Yugo 4 door. They are rare and cheap to buy. You still have a 4 door and can put grandkids in it. When you take them out for a ride and the Yugoslavia breaks down, you will experience a unique opportunity to bond with the grandkids while waiting for the tow truck. Since the Yugo was so cheap, you have lots of money to purchase Fiat parts to fix it PLUS the interior is upholstered with all the used towels from Yugoslavian hotels thus providing an easy place to dry your sweaty palms! After several episodes of this going on, you will ditch the Yugo, seek out another old car to enjoy and NEVER entertain even the slightest idea of selling, trading, or giving it away. The Yugo experience will change your life for ever and cause you to keep the next hamb friendly car you own and not have any questions about replacing it. By the way, where do I purchase one of those snazzy fish shirts?.
