I have been thinking about what to do with the grille on my wagon. The bar in the middle is pretty much floating as it sits. Literally! Only one bolt holding it to a loose aluminum insert that has seen better day. I figured if I am going to get it fixed I might as well look for something that makes it more unique. Here is how its sits stock. Who has added teeth and what fits?
1954 Chevy will fit, with the '54 parklites..so will early Corvette teeth..they are pricey tho...I'd bet even '53 teeth will work too... R-
Ya kinda have to be careful "adding on" a 57 chevy-Its usually all or nothing..... Like full custom or stock.. I like a 57 Buick grille in them- it about fits and does look great/and is a subtle change........
I love '57 Chevs. I had a cut 59 Imperial grill in mine with the stock 57 directionals. 57 Buick, early vette teeth, 53 Chevy teeth, 55 Desoto and tube grilles all look stellar
Thanks so far! I don't know if I will go for the gingervitis look. I think that I just threw up a little in my mouth. Looks like he did too! I will have to do a google search in the morning to see if I can find a pic of a 57 buick grill in a 57 chevy.

As mentioned before, the '57 Buick grill looks great on '57 Chevy. On my '57 Sedan Delivery, I removed the grill bar and painted the stock grill flat black, simple and it gives the car a really tough look.
Where did you get that pic? That was airbrushed out in a picture of Paris Hilton in *******. -Strat. ( i just made ME gag.)
What about using 2 1952 buick grills and incorporating them with stock bar? It would be alot of work and a trip to the chrome shop but I am liking it. I think that I am leaning to fatter teeth than the thin 57 buick ones.
I'm still thinking about the front grill. I like the stock look but always like a little bit of a custom look without doing extreme body mods and such. 1950 buick grill teeth with stock bumper. Too much? I kinda like the idea of having the lights in a simialr spot to the stock grill bar.
Here are some in my '51 Sedan Delivery http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=178448&stc=1&d=1144549314]
nonono..forget that..it's YOUR car.do with it what YOU want.that's what customization is all about.if you read most of the little books, they'd take teeth out of and switch grills all the time,no matter WHAT car it was or HOW it made it look.as long as it was either different or they liked it.and that's all that matters creepy
