Show me your '29-'32 Chevy P/U

    I am building a '31 Chevy AE Independence 1/2 ton p/u (sorry, no pics as of yet). I would really love to see what you guys have done with your Chevy pick-ups...I kinda need some inspiration, they seem to be pretty rare, and I'm not sure if I should chop it or not...things like that.

    Don't do it....they don't make good hot rods...

    Just wondering how your "flipped axle" holds up while driving...does it hit the frame? Is your axle a drop axle?

    The axle on top of the leafs was ok, but the ubolts did hit on big cracks in the wonderful wisconsin roads. I have flipped it to the bottom of the springs now and removed 2 leafs and flipped one. Sits about 2" higher which gives me more ground clearance and no frame hitting the ubolts anymore. Other than than i'm happy with the setup
