Rusty1, My Divco is a 1949 UMB model, I graffed on a 55 Chevy front suspension, it has a 9" Ford posi w/ disk outback, I channeled the hell out of it, I put a 65 Chevy 409 in it ,backed with a turbo 400 trans. It still needs alot of work, but I derailed myself and am woking on my A Coupe.....................................Thanks Littleman

  25. '29 Murray Fordor Sedan -- Trying to decide between making it an open tub or RPU. The RPU is probably easier in this case since so much of the structure of the Murrays was wood. There is zero substructure. Not even subrails! In the Murrays the subrails were wood. Wood was rotten and 90% gone. I'll guess I'll be buying quite a few sticks of 1"x1" 16 gauge tube.

Here it is arriving in the box of my previous project, the '72 Ford pickup.
I'll probably merge the projects and use the freshly rebuilt hot 390 in the F250 for the RPU project. On the last shot you can see how much is really missing and why I'm leaning towards the RPU option.

I've always wanted to see this done, those Chrysler/ Desoto lights looks just right in the Ford fenders. If your's a 57 I guess you used 58 fenders or...Was it much work to make them fit? Any more pics maybe?
