It's funny - over time the art in my garage is now worth more than the art in my house.

sadly..i dont have a picture. but when i was younger (im seventeen now) so not THAt long ago, my dad was running in the street stock class here in dallas. and he had a front fender off of his monte carlo. when it would get dented, we would just beat it back into place. i went to see him the other weekend and he still has that sumbitch. all dented and rusty where the paint had cracked. hanging on his shop wall.

    That "mountain oysters" is hilarious.

    Yeah man,
    The Mountain Oysters sign rules.

Would you mind if I made some of my own based on that idea?

I'd love to paint a few along the lines of that theme. That's as funny as can be! :D

This is the info poster that was with a 122 Miller INDY car at the Philadelphia auto show in 1926. It was in four pieces when I got it, the missing upper corner makes for a good place for the exhibitors pin.

    Cool mang!

I've got a ton of work right now that has to be done, but hopefully before the month is out, I'll make one of those signs.

As soon as I saw it, I had a bunch of different ideas in my head. That sign rules. I simply have to have one for myself.....plus I'll probably sell a few.

Do you know anything about who made it or why? Whoever did it was a genius.

Dragged it out of an old farm house in East Texas, the interior walls were covered with old signs.
