Here's my rust bucket. I havent really even started yet. Just a few things here and there. Got a loooong way to go to reach my 175 MPH Bville, 11.5 sec 1/4 mile goals. For now she serves as daily transportation. I look back at old pics like that and I think "Wow... Look at all the space under the car"

    All I (we)had to do was,replace cowl side,patch cowl top,replace wheel weels,patch quarters,install new subrails,build a chassis,install 40 rear,39 trans,build 59AB, BAM! got a 32 roadster!

My 29 highboy---$200 body--$300 frame---got divorced--stored the parts for something like 7 years---then worked like hell on it after new wife says"I LIKE HOT RODS!"---got me a good woman now!

    The 29 is fresh---the 37 is my high-mileage driver--almost 100,000 miles.

    Hi HotRod60f100,
The Anglia is powered by a little Ford 4 pot it was originally 1600cc now bored to 1700 its got 7.5to 1 compression and the blower makes 10lbs of boost. We had to use a small engine due to his age and problems with getting insurance. He,s now collecting parts as he wants to build a Hemi powered model A, afraid he,s gonna have to wait a while as its his sisters turn next and I,ve got a 34 5 window waiting to get started on.

If at the age of 14 she was still willing to sit for a picture with Grandpa's "old" car, then you did something right. The grand daughter and the picture are both treasures.

This was a 4 year build..... The body looks better than it was, It took two years to get through rust replacement.

Well, I started out with a "street rod" (I purchased the car because it was a diecently solid business coupe, knowing id take it out of its street rod misery), so it alwready had a mustang II front end and an 8" rear. The 8" rear was on parallel leafs that were very stiff and sat very high. The rear is now a 9" rear (switched to get 5 lug hubs) with a TCI 4 link setup, and air bags, and airbags on the mustang II front end as well. In the picture, the front is about at ride height, but the snumbbers on the frame are sitting right on the rear axle, so the car has to be kicked up in the back a bit for driving. The front will drop even lower (no dropped spindles installed) is I wanted a doreward rake, which I dont. Next year I'll C-notch the frame so I can get the rear a little lower, but for now, the rear will drop about 4" off of the ground, and the front will go to about 2".
