Ken saw Mike yesterday over at Daves shop. I was told to ask where you are parked. That 51 looks pretty wicked.

Mike, yes it is Steves' old car. saw Steve @ HAMB drags with his new '31 Chev roadster. I pushed a head gasket out of blue car 1st pass so our racing day was over.

Nice Prefect! Love the stance and the paint color! Will it get lettered again, or leave it as it is?

Hey Kev I am gonna love and pet it ! No I have been contacted by the famaily of Adolf Valenzuela he raced this car all over arizonia one of his friends and favorite people to race was John Loper and actualy out ran him sometimes ! His brother-inlaw built a anglia because the fun they had with Hi Ho Silver now I am gonna restore her to the 301 hilborne injected version it also ran a 396 in 65. I have talked to Adolfs sister before he passed away in 2011 she said he always wondered where his old race car went and she said he would be happy knowing it was gonna race again. We are currently building a 301 hilborne injected small block the tranny was a clutch turbo. I wonder has anyone heard of a clutch turbo by Barrand .it was out of Phoenix . these photos are from 1964.

  15. I'm not breaking the sound barrier here like some of these guys...lol
The best so far is a 7.18@95.14 in the 1/8 mi, the car is still new and I keep messing with it. I just did a couple more changes and we race this Sunday, I hope it runs faster !

    edit: it ran a 7.17 @ 95.27 just a wee bit faster..lol

I run a clutch turbo in my car but it's an old B&M unit. If you're interested, you may want to check with Wnter's as I heard they were redoing them. You may also want to do a search on the net and see what you come up with. They're a kick to drive, especially on the street! Vic

I thought so, man, I love that car. Steve has a knack for showing up with some of the most bitchin' machinery. Too bad about the head gasket.

I'd really like to hit the HAMB drags one day. I'm part of a team that campaigns a car at Bonneville, so I'm comitted to that. Getting time off from work and comming up with gas money to do both is pretty tough these days.
