Show us HAMB cars put on the road in 2007...!

I'll start with mine... on the road since April 15th 2007 and driven approximately 5,700+ miles including a couple quarter mile blasts...!



Ran a 12.02 @110 mph with minimum traction...!

I got this thing "done" in early october... This year was kinda a wash car wise i didnt get much done since i was buying so much stuff and overall the bunny factor was hitting me hard. next year will be better i hope i just have to stay focused on what i allready have in the works.

 

Here are my cars I put on the Road this last year.

My T coupe (now sold to another HAMBer)

My Truck ( was on the Road before. But it was down for a couple of months, now up and running again with a different Engine & Gearbox )

And my 2 Capri's ( both off the Road again to get Engine Swaps.
the Blue one is almost done...)

My Roadster has its new Engine, and the Blower is off being rebuilt.
It should up and running in a couple of weeks...

 

i dont have a pic of it when i first started with it,but it looked the same pretty much except it was sitting up at stock height like a 4X4 when i picked it up in febuary.,,it now lives in finland.

Wow Sam - huge difference! How much did you chop it?

 

Dragged this out of the desert tan and not running the week after Paso, still working out the kinks. It's been a pretty slow year, car wise.

 

Got my '56 on the road early in '07, no interior, no heater, just barely legal. Now it's got an interior, even carpet, a heater with defrost, and I've put over 5K miles on it, including a 1600 mile round trip to the HAMB Drags. Made a few passes at Mokan, too. Now I've got a hankering for a coupe. I guess I could take out the 440, use the tires,wheels, seats, etc.................

 

I put this on the road in May of this year. Chopped it and did a bunch of metal work this fall and now it has purple flames.

Wingnutz,its a GM color,med. garnet red (basecoat w/o clear)

 

this year I bought an sold a lot, but really only got one running.....

started with this in around February.........




Ended up with this....driving in June....

 

I cant take much credit for mine....as I traded for it in basically the shape you see it....but, it still became 100% road ready this October....and shes inspected, has regular tags so I can drive it as often as I want, and now that she has brakes again....I DO!!!!!

One of my favorite HAMB cars. It has always seemed a bit of an underdog....Really, how many 56 Plymouth gassers are you gonna see??

To get it together and drive all the way to the Drags..that's what it's all about.

It wasnt a complete build, but I re-styled this '55 truck, and brought it out last spring... and has been a ton of fun since.

 

My 29 Sedan hit the road in Oct.

Well, the 2.92 gears are good for mileage (12mpg) but not so good for drag racing. It turned consistent 15.6's in the low 80's. I'd never been on a drag strip before, and really had a blast. The 440 sounded tits through the un-capped fenderwell headers!

 

Yeah, I've always been a little different. Thanks for the kind words. I've really enjoyed putting this thing together and driving it.
