I have a motorcycle shop and can't even fit my car inside. I feel like she's in prison back there. Gotta hang w/ all the a/c guys trash.
A month!!! up here patina happens over night. We have to keep the shop nice and warm. This shop is a far cry from where I started.I have seen some nice shops posted here and can never get enough of them.Seems we build alot of memories in our shops.I built this garage when I was 13 and It held alot of memories.Sold the house last year and was asked to tear it down. Found it hard cause I found alot of memories under the old wooden floor. Found parts from cars I scraped when I was 14.
my new shop...been here less than a week,,not even done unpacking/setting up yet...i LOVE this shop............
Here are mine. The first ones are at my moms. It's small but it's heated a must around here. There is also a shop in the basement.

Kail....... What is that space frame lookin' chassis under the vehicle on the lift? Tell us something.
More shots of the "someday shop". It is in Bend Oregon. I made the doors last year, and I'm slowly getting the place varmit proof. For now we are keeping the big ones out.....
I love going to Bend!! its a few hours from my place I try to get out there at least once a year on vacation. I'm surpirsed there isnt much of a car scene down there, maybe its just been hiding from me. Great looking shop!
Now I'm really jealous - there are some awesome shops out there in rodland. Guess I'll have to keep working on it. I always struggle with the dilemma though - buy parts for the rod or tools for the shop?Tricky! Thanks for all your replies guys.............Terry
I was bored this morning and thought I would share some pics of the shop I run and manage. Here's a few projects we got on the go: My 4 door parts car that I just sold to my boss, and a rare 64 Parisienne with a 409 thats getting a frame off. It's basically a 64 Impala with a Catalina body. My bosses' sweet ass 57 Dodge wagon that he ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT- OVER- HIS -DEAD -BODY -EVER- SELL- TO -ME. and a few beaters, a 65 Country Wagon and a 63 Wildcat. Nice ass 62 Impala SS 327 4 speed that we picked up, it's pretty rough, but a real SS so we are keeping it. Shipping Door... Represent! 64 T Bird thats almost done. Anyone ever try and find a rag joint for one of these sluts?!? My boss has a fetish for vintage pinball machines and juke boxes... ...and wierd motors shaped like M's 37 Plymouth bomba we got on the go 360 mock up motor, MII installed, frame boxed, 8 3/4" rearend hung, driveshaft made, column mounted... Break room... all hail Guy Lafleur and hail Jean Beliveaux Car mags with a few better mags stashed in The Storefront
Sometimes I fondle the manekin. Blue Steel Front door SSSSshhit If you don't have chain steering wheels hanging from the ceiling at your work, your job blows donkey scrotum and thats all.
is that a Powell pickup in there? or a Landie? I think I have some parts for a Powell around here somewhere......
MAN !!!! after seeing all these neato torpedo garages, I feel like I have a little weenie Here is the most interesting pic of our garage. We used to spend so much time looking through old magazines for examples of things we wanted to do to the 51, we decided to do a little interior decorating. What you see is 2 guys, each with about 25 years of car magazines making wallpaper out of the things we liked. We call it the " manic wall' It will suck you in so quick and it is hard to break away to do anything else. I know what you are thinking ! A bunch of stoners
its a chassis we designed in house for a 51 merc. we built it in cad then had the peices laser cut, then bent them into shape. its only tacked together right now. I can't fully divulge the suspension but i can tell you its a hidden torsion bar system that is ride height adjustable on the fly.
