Student was messing around with some scrap at school

 

Took me a minute to realize what I was looking at. Really cool.

 

Student is building a welding sculpture for a contest.
She started before her ignorant instructor read the rules. Can’t be over 18 inches tall. So she turned the gears and chain into a chandelier.

 

I think the term “Art” is subjective.
As far as wall hangers and stuff, I have lots.
However, my girlfriend got me this for Christmas! The calendar days for 2024 are the same as 1968…

NOS Playboy playmate calendar for my “Gas Station” bathroom. There’s a laundry room between the house and garage with a toilet and wash basin. It’s ALL MINE, and a little shabby… so, we call it “The Gas Station”.
As in… “I’ll run down to the gas station to use their bathroom”…

 

The original mural is MASSIVE, and can still be view at the Detroit Institute of Art!

 

I Finally Put up his(Bob K.) heater lights in my shop bathroom and his other stuff towl holders and paper holder ! Miss that guy !

 

I call mine the Lube-Atory

 

..Shame she's over 18 inches tall, but, hey, short people have rights too.

Toy Box!

 

No garage art to speak of.
I like it, but I'll be painting in there so I'm trying to keep my workspace as uncluttered as possible to keep from harboring dust and make cleaning easier and more thorough. Putting all that I can on wheels for the same reason. Remaining tools and materials go on the wall or in cabinets.

I just started taking all my best stuff to my living area upstairs to keep it safe. And so I can look at it.

Actually bought the ram bust recently to keep company with my long ram intake. Thought it appropriate.
"Art", don't cha know.
Eventual firewall decoration maybe?



Not very extensive yet.
Gotta build some shelves, etc.

Tom Willford sent me a video years ago titled " Bucket list". I took this picture from that and it's been on my shop wall ever since.
