I don't know if this is going to fly here, because I don't know what year it is from.......

I have a Stewart Warner Engine Analyzer like this one (from Google):

 

Gauges in my custom 56 F1-
00 are out of a Clark Cortez motorhome but are actually just green line SW with a Cortez logo on them.
I wanted a new set but at the time they were $700+ and backordered six months. Also being a slant six guy (Cortez motorhomes came with a fwd slant) I am always on the hunt for odd slant parts and when these popped up for $200 I jumped on them! Turns out the guy selling them also knows my dad and a bunch of local car history so we had a great talk for a few hours as well.

 

Its not a real collection but i gathered some SW gauges to my T.
The speedo is from a Plymouth 55.

So....Here's a story for you. When my Daughter was graduating High School I gave her 3 1940s vintage SW curved glass gauges. She looked at them and said , What am I supposed to do with these? I told her to put em on E bay and see what happens. One gauge in particular, a temp gauge with the original caplillary tube got a shit load of attention... After the auction was over a very famous 32 ford collector contacted her and said he would give her more than the winning bid... She asked me what to do and I said it wouldn't be fair. In the end her graduation present was far more than she expected.

 

A couple of 1930's rear mount panels...as elegant as they come.

 

Not my photos, I found this S-W radio on eBay, we had the same model in ivory, not blue.

My mother worked at S-W from 1939-‘40 soldering components on the radio assembly line. She got pregnant and her supervisor had noticed, he suggested she wear loose clothes so she could get 90 days in and be covered by the health insurance. Good guy.
We had this radio in our kitchen ‘til the early ‘50’s, I imagine mom bought it in the S-W company store.

 

Bought a NOS unit from Rusty @e1956v at Speedometer service.

I am an"also ran" in this competition, the Studebaker Hawk dash is all SW, as is the dash in my 38 Chevy, the T roadster is mostly SW.

 

I am guessing this is not what you are after, but I picked it up last week at a yard sale. The online encyclopedia says they made lubrication equipment.

 

Just a whole bunch of blues. Walter has 14, a bunch in my office and I have a box somewhere with quite a few.

 

Complete set of early '50's Tulip Pointers. S/W was known for doing things that defy explanation, but why they never made a vacuum gauge ranks up there. I never saw one, anyway.

Marvel at the Stewart Warner coffee mug I got at the buy-by-the-pound Goodwill this weekend. Anyone know what "the Hotbox" is?
