Be careful with Aluminum oil pans with drain plug hanging down. My buddy pulled in to gas station and snagged the drain plug on the under ground tank manhole. Ripped the back out of the pan and dumped all the oil in front of the pump. Tow home.

Yea the drain plugs do hang pretty low. The thing thats really pissing me off is that the damn thing WILL NOT STOP LEAKING up front. All bolts are snug. Pan is flush against the block. The front rubber U gasket looks like its sealed off tight, but nope. Oil is still finding a way to seep out around it. I went over it with RTV too. Ive dropped the pan twice already.:mad:

  26. I just scored a finned rocker cover for my Holden six, which I won't show due to engine being an 83 year. Been wanting one for some time.
I to have the finned sickness.
Just found a finned triple carb manifold for a 9 port head, but I need it to fit a 12 port. Hopefully a competent alloy welder can modify it for me.
Next biggy will be, do I paint between the fins, or not.

I'm liking that dash panel. I have to ask though, did you cast that, or is it carved out of billet and dressed up to look cast? I'm thinking that may be the way to go in my T.
