Got a box of toys from a friend that was cleaning out his garage, he knows I like old trains, and there were a few Marx cars in there. Also in the box was a little rubber car with this on the bottom: "Firestone, 1939 San Diego Exposition." It sold on the e-place to an auto museum in London England for more than $300, and that was 8 years ago, must have been a rare one. Still haven't told my friend about it, but I do pay for his lunch now and again.
Assdragger gave me a reverse eye model a front spring and some lincoln spindles. Atch gave me a model a front pass frame horn. King Chassis gave me a bunch of bonus parts in a trade we made. A local guy gave me a set of 35-36 ford radius rods SCORE!!!!! Everyone I've met off this board has been really awsome. It's 0/T, but the 91 ranger i drive daily was given to me by a very distant relative that passed away. Ratty55
Several years ago a guy gave me a small painted International hub cap! I'll see if I can find the pictures. They're around here somewhere.
A customer and friend gave me a 42 Chevy Sedan Delivery. It's rusty, but it sure is rare. A little over 2,000 made in 42. I'll have to post some pics later so you can all have a good laugh. BlackCherry

The double-sided, Ford oval porcelain and neon sign was given to me over twenty years ago by the owner of the Ford dealership in the town where I grew up. He also gave me the "skeleton' neon Ford oval that hung in the showroom window. When I was a child, the same gentleman always let me pick a promo model from the glass display case in the showroom at the end of the model year.
A real cool guy on the Tbucketeers website, LumenAl, gave me this pair of Deitz headlights for my T Bucket. All I paid was shipping. Rick, another member, gave me my chrome friction shock levers. Zaphead, a HAMB vendor, gave me the buckets that hold them on the posts. And I can't even put a number on all the really great, money saving advice I have gotten over the last year and a half. The gift of giving is strong in the hot rod community.
Back in the 70s I got this 56 Chev FREE, needed an engine, I just happened a good 58 truck engine setting around. Last December a guy gave me these two scoots free. If I can't get them running I'll put a 5 hp briggs in them.
A friend, who has a brother that installs Corian countertops, gave me this cool shift knob made out of Corian. Been also given a lot of miscellaneous small parts and emblems over the years.
No pics but......... a friend gave me a complete Ford 302 and an AOD tranny. A couple days later he brought over the Hooker long tubes that were on the 302.
