Hi, is anyone going to Sick Week in Florida? I'm planning on it with the Hemi Coupe if nothing goes wrong. I'm registered for the Hot Rod class. My son Cam will be handling the Trunk Monkey duties for the first time. If you are there, look me up! Warning, I try to get my pass/passes in early and hit the road, so you won't normally find me at the track after 10 or 11.

    Schedule:

January 28 - Orlando Speed World, tech and testing.
Tech from 7am, testing from 2pm.

January 29 - Orlando Speed World, day one.
    Driver’s meeting at 8am, racing from 9am.

January 30 - Bradenton Motorsports Park, day two.
    Racing from 9am.

January 31 - Gainesville Raceway, day three.
    Racing from 9am.

February 1 - South Georgia Motorsports Park, day four.
    Racing from 9am.

February 2 - Orlando Speed World, day five.
    Racing from 11am.

If Cam is taking over Trunk Monkey duties does that mean we will have a day by day report from the event. I hope so as I love to follow along. Best of luck. Father/son events like this are great.

Swifty. I'll try to do a daily report, it depends on how much time we have. Some days it get to be real time crunch just to get to the hotel after a long day of racing and driving. Or maybe Cam can do some reporting while we are driving down the road.

That would be great if Cam can punch out a report while you're heading to your hotel. I realise typing while riding in a hot rod is not the easiest so anything he can do will be good.

    Good luck Joel.

How do they do classes, when I signed up for Sick Summer, I did not see a hotrod class, just a stick shift.

wow, I just looked over the field of entries. That's seems like a lot of entries! I had no idea this would be that popular. There is another SICK event scheduled in my area on Rt. 66. I've contacted them but all I receive back are emails about buying merch?
Very impressive times on quite a lot of cars, seems to me.

I'm planning to go on Sick 66 this fall. Keep following it, it should be fun, and you're "right there".

Got a decent pass in this morning, it's good enough for me! I just turned in The time slip and we are getting ready to hit the road. After being up till 1:30 a.m. last night, we're going to try and get to the hotel and get a good night's sleep

There's a sweet blue Willys coupe running too. Haven't seen a whole lot of old iron.
