    HI THERE, NAMES MARK AND IM FROM DALLAS,TX. I JUST BOUGHT MY FIRST HOT ROD BOUT A YEAR AGO.......MAN I OPENED A CAN OF WORMS. ITS A 66CHEVY P/U I REALLY WAS LOOKIN FOR A MID 50s MODEL,BUT THE 66 FELL IN MY LAP AND ITS GROWN ON ME. IVE DONE ALOT OF WORK TO HER AND SPENT ALOT OF DOE AN I STILL HAVE ALOT MORE TO GO. IM BOUT TO REBUILD THE FRONT END IN THE NEXT COUPLE DAYS, I COULD USE SOME HELPFUL ADVICE OR INSTRUCTIONS SEEIN HOW ITS MY FIRST TIME.

  2. Advice: measure twice, cut once. If there's any doubt, check again. ALWAYS put you vehice on jack-stands before you crawl under it (had a bad experience with my '90 F-150), and listen carefully to the more experienced! Don't just do what they say, but listen and make sure it makes sense, there's alot of knowledge on this board, but there's alot of BS too.

    JACKSTANDS....CHECK:) I LUCKLY WORK IN A MACHINE SHOP WITH ALOT OLE TIMERS WITH SOME IMPRESSIVE KNOWLEDGE. IM NOT INTIMADATED BY ALL THE WORK THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE ON MY TRUCK. I KNOW THAT IF SOMETHING DID GO WRONG OR IF I JUST DIDNT HAVE THE KNOW HOW I COULD GO HERE TO THE HAMB FOR ADVICE OR TO SOME TRUSTED OLD TIMERS THAT KNOW KNOW THEIR STUFF
