Here in Oregon one of our long time Hot Rod legends just turned 90. Sid has been a mentor to many and was always a well known fixture at car shows and swap meets here in the Willamette valley. He most often was seen in his red 36 Ford pickup, at 90 he is in the process of building a 37 pickup right now, over the years he has build many different hot rods. He is a tough old bird and funny as hell to talk to and a all around good guy Happy Birthday Sid! Wish I had some better pictures of his cars but got a couple of him at least!
I've been out of circulation for many years but Sid had that really neat green gennie deuce 3 window that last time I saw him, thinking it was in the 90's. Happy birthday Sid.
Everybody remembers that car, Sid tells us all about it all the time. He has a lot of stories about driving big rigs and more stories about building Hot Rods. Whatever you do don't bring up 364 Buick nailheads!
Happy Birthday to Sid, great guy. We traded him that gl*** 34 roadster for his 34 five window that he had. The 5 window was a great car.
