Side pipes on my 55 Plymouth?

    They might be to large a diameter for you car if it is lowered !!!

    just my opinion but that is the wrong style of side pipe to put on a sled..the long laker pipes would look alot better with one outlet

    I would suggest lake style pipes.
    The one linked to looks good on some of the Vettes
    and muscle cars.

    Something like this.

    Unless you're building a Corvette or a XXX clone out of your 55 Plymouth, leave those pipes to the muscle guys and put some lake pipes on there. They'll look money, functional or not. [​IMG]

    yeah definatley a muscle car/corvette thing, saw them on a 49-51 merc in a dealership in south jersey, looks bad, go with lakes

    I love pipes on the side of '55 Plymouths.... but those ones are all wrong....

    those pipes you linked to need to be run vertically, not horizontally...with flappers on the tops of them!!!
    i'd definately go with lakes style pipes if your gonna do it.
    but that's just my opinion.
