What are you guys building in your spare time when your not working on your ride. I am currently working on 2 classic tricycles and I will be making some complete custom tricycles. pictured below are the 2 I am doing and some inspirational pics of other custom trikes.

They are all pretty sweet looking IMO. Love the wheel covers!

Im building a couple of old BMX's and a minibike. The bikes are an 89 Mongoose Cali Pro and an 89 Bully. I want my kids to have decent bikes, though the Bully is for me lol. The minibike is a stratch build. 3 hp B and S.

  12. I have a few projects in the works. The 1958 NSU Prinz will have 2,165 cc VW engine. The Toyopet will have the original engine rebuild and the 1928 Ford will have a 1953 Mercury Flathead with a 3 speed Mercury transmission.

    Thanks

  13. My '48 F1 is 99% finished and then I found a sideline project (a 1961 Siesta 10 footer) that's turned into my main project. As long as the F1 is done by spring I'm good.

I do like working on the trailer (ex-wood butcher) as there's no radiator, engine, transmission, clutch, etc.. to leak, grind, sputter, miss or not start.

Starting work on my '55 Oval window Beetle while finishing up the minor details on the Falcon van and juggling school work. There is also a '66 Sportster XLCH that will be getting put together somewhere in the mix.

Here's a shot of it after I modified a bit (added some reinforcement, cut off some extra junk that the PO welded onto it, etc).....[IMG]

    Here's a shot of the rear as-found....
