History Side trim and car ID

The movie car was 1943. I have been searching for some of those accessory catalogs online but haven’t turned up anything yet. I think that’s where it will be if we can luck onto it.

The movie phaeton made a brief appearance in the 1940 movie ‘The Invisible Man Returns’:

I suspect that the car appeared in an even earlier movie that hasn’t turned up yet, and was just used in later films because it was still in company inventory.

 

I do not, every google inquiry was ***isted by AI and I was unable to verify the robot's claims beyond that. Typing in every combination I could think of related to B&S coach building, 1937/38 Fords and the speedline trim yielded nothing. Pretty crazy that there's no info out there at all.

 

Looks like the door hinge is different between the pic and that 38 pic.

Wouldn't think there would have been a lot of aftermarket auto trim at that time. Probably something archetectural.
