Hello I recently fired up my car and tried it with open headers to mufflers on Although I am half deaf from working in an automotive stamping plant for 30 years, the noise is quite deafening inside the car even at idle I aquired some spiral insert baffles for the exhaust that I can use inline with the DNA mufflers(have not tried them yet) I still will need to get the car quieter if possible Has anyone been successful in getting the car considerably quieter inside with sidepipes and if so what would be reccomended as the best for sound insulation? At present you would have to yell for the passenger to hear you, although it will be quieter once the inserts are in place. It seems to be louder in the car than out thanks for your time Tom
Resonate noise is hell......put some internal baffles in the sidepipes...then do what 8's andA's suggested....put some sound deadener matt on you floorboards after rolling on some rollon bedliner material should do the trick....if not...buy a better stereo..........
I like a H pipe. It will kill some of the vibrato, (highway drill in the brain sound) Is vibrato a word, I dont know, you know what I mean.
