FNG question. Has any one seen heads of this brand before or is it an Aussie thing? Just lookin for some history if someone knows.

They are in great condition in the water jackets and will use them on the '30 roadster eventually.

    Cheers in advance.

It must be the fact that everyone is gob smacked that there was/is Hop Up gear made for Ford Flathead V8s outside the USA. [IMG]

I'll take a stab at it and say it's Australian [IMG]
Anyone else know anything about the history of said heads.
Come on don't be shy [IMG]

I've never seen the Lundberg & Son heads but I'd say they are local (NSW) parts and very rare. As for stuff from Alec Mildren, also rare and worth keeping. Mildren made his name road racing and hillclimbing way back before I was born.

Well bugger me, it's old uncle Morry's hot rod!

Not really , in fact the guy is no relation.

However, I was looking at the feature on that very car just a few weeks ago when searching thru a bunch of early sixties Aussie Hot Rod mags looking for info on another old rod that's just been dragged out into the daylight after years in the dark and misty depths of a farmer's shed. Hard to see in that pic, but Morry's car was a real plum. I'll fish out the mag and scan some better pics to post here, but don't hold your breath it'll take a couple or more days.
