Hot Rods Sidewinders CC Glendale

I recently acquired an old 28/29 A roadster body that was owned by Jerry Silverstein until 2007. From what I have found, he was part of the Sidewinders Car Club out of Glendale. Anyone know if any members are still around?

Curious if this roadster body was known by any or them and/or a car that ran in the club at some point. I am trying to track history as it seems many signs point to it to having been an old race car.

 

There was just a swap meet in Chatsworth CA on Nov 6 that was put on by the San Fernando Valley Model A club. I've been to that swap over the years and I can tell you that there were/are Sidewinders still around. Check with the club..maybe they know about Jerry or that car. Good luck..
