Customs Sight unseen ‘54 Olds Tex-SoDak trip

    I've heard that you can swap 1955 Oldsmobile upper and lower control arms onto the 1954 chassis and then you get a traditional shock inside the coil spring and retain the original spindle as is, but I've yet to see documentation on the process. I've considered similar routes on mine but ultimately think I'd like to go to Bags since I'm not sure how well the knee-action would work with airride.

    I've never heard that option. I will do some research and see what I can figure out.
    I like that far better than these silly shocks or clipping it.
