saw this driving home the other day. anyone know what it is. Im sure some one does. her's an International pickup rotting away in the back lot at work. My boss refuses to ever sell it but also has no plans to restore it. so there it sits Its pretty wadded up and rough I've seen others start with worse. close to the truck sits this double decker bus A little O/T but this 68 c/10 is speaking to me also across the street in the pic is a 51 merc 4-door for sale by the same dealership I think this wagon is pretty sweet. Its a 59 chevy. the rims are a little goddy but i like it dont hate me for that lol
What? I think this wagon is pretty sweet. Its a 59 chevy. the rims are a little goddy but i like it dont hate me for that lol The rims are not a little....They are alot, big time!
they want 8900 for it. the merc across the street is $20K and it s slightly rough stocker seems hign to me. I sure the truck could be had for less than 8900 too It was really cool figured it was brittish but there was no tell tale badges that I understood they are a bit too goddy but what I like is the long and in the weeds look
Yeah...GT6. A friend of mine had one. Not super fast or anything but a fun little car to buzz around in just the same. Still...for ME...a Sports car doesn't have any need for a roof!
Group 44's restored GT-6 race car. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=D66G6vc0AoU
Strange mentality to pick up cars, sit them in the back 40 and just leave 'em to rot. I'll never understand it, but... shit, it's their stuff.
its always sitting out on University is it for sale or something or whats the deal with it. your in waterloo? how come I never see that beauty in you avatar around town lol
did they add an extra zero to the price on that chevy truck by mistake? that wagon woould be sweet if it had normal wheels and tires on it.
Hey redzula! Chevy is out there to advertise-haven't heard it's for sale anyway. And as far as Beasty goes-man I drive the snot out of that thing! But you know in hindsight I guess I should stipulate I don't drive it on uni very much-that street SUCKS!!! And by the way-if you're into the HAMB and nostalgic traditional rods and kustoms get your butt down to BJ's this Saturday night!
where and what is BJ's? never heard of it. Also the fun aparently never stops at the shop. check out what showed up over the weekend. one of the guys brought this up and cut out the powertrain and rearend to build a trike with(probably wont ever get finished knowing who is doing it), but the shell is sitting at the shop and probably goin to the crusher on friday. Unless one of you wants it that is. I have no vested interest in it so if somebody wants it let me know and I will tell the guy to hold on to it for a while.
************************************************************* Hey, Redzula.........I know who you are, and I know where you work. Well, where you work, anyway. (From the spot where you took that right front quartering bus picture, look to your left. I work out of that building on the other side of the fence.) BTW.....there's another HAMB'er works in the tool/steel shop south of the Goodyear outlet. Roger
You work at takins or bertch cabinets or am I looking in the wrong direction. I gave talked to the toolshop Guy he introduced himself in my introduction thread he has a 36 pu like me but his is actually on the road lol. There seems to be a lot of hambers in waterloo does everyone know eachother or get together ever. P.s. I drive the red Audi that Parks outside school bus sales. I'm in school now so I'm only able to work about half time right now.
I'm a Bertchie. Yeah, he drives that a fair amount during nicer weather. I wouldn't say there's a "lot" of HAMB'ers, but there are more than a handful. I've met a couple, but don't get out as much as I'd like to. Get togethers occasionally. There's one coming up.....see the Flat Tops and Fenders thread. I think I'll be showing up, but as a tourist. The T roadster isn't nowhere near street worthy, yet. Roger
Definitely need to get to Flattops and Fenders guys-at BJ's Bar and Grill across from The Cattle Congress this Saturday night guys. My name is Bob Alaniz but anyone who knows me has been calling me Greaser Bob for a long time. I am proudly part of a group of guys who faithfully get together one Sunday a mounth down at Butler's Barber Shop in Waterloo. And he named it Flattops and Fenders. It was started by my friend Chuck The Barber, and we bring our rides, drink beer, and grill out listening to our favorite Rockabilly. The year end blowout is this Saturday and we'll be rockin with Rumble Seat Riot!
Really? I've seen dozens of 'em up here. They're still quite popular. I don't know any of the owners, but I see the cars all over Toronto...
What,,No chatter about that nice mid 40's KB3,,looks like a little fender banging and drive away,,likely cheap too!
I asked him the other day "whats up with that old international out back?" he said if his dad ever gave him the chance he would sell it but his dad wont give it up except in his will. plus he probably thingks its work $10K as is. lol Adam
