Does it make anyone else really happy when they see hot rods and customs in places one normally wouldnt think of seeing them? I went to the grocery store for my mom tonight and lo and behold, an awesome chopped and scalloped 55 ford sat in the parking lot. I love seeing that.

About a month ago , I saw a drop dead beautiful 46-47 chopped Chevy cpe in the parking lot of a Rite Aid drugstore at the layover at the end of my bus route. Youi are right it's nice to see a cool car just being a car .

Driving a city transit bus has it's advantages. I see all kinds of cool and interesting cars while I'm working. The downside is not being able to stop and talk to the owners. LOL

Just went to Home Depot for some hardware, and in the parking lot was a radically chopped '55-56 Merc in black primer. Low, all the trim shaved, WWs, no hubcaps. It looked great to see in on the street, and I don't even like those Mercs!

Oh, and a couple of years ago I saw a severely lowered, shaved '47 Cad Sedanette gliding along in traffic. It was like seeing a flying saucer picking up a burger at McDonalds.
