Looking more and more like the get out and ride season is speeding along towards a close. Got out today on the two lanes for some miles of fun. While the scenery is looking nice, we all know what’s around the bend… Share some photos from your recent rides.
...for some of you. I'm thinking of putting the roof on the roadster to protect from summer frying. Winter is so much better.
While the leaves turning and falling, it sure is getting dark way too early. Here are a couple photos around 6:45 this evening.
Just wait, in a couple of weeks when we go back to standard time, it’ll be dark at 5:00 pm. I dread that. Short days, long nights.
Toy season ended here last week(snow) . I prefer Standard time over DST. In December it's dark a 4 in the afternoon. Summer darkness should be at 8-8:30 not 10:45pm. Unfortunately hockey and golf holds too much influence here.
Born and bred Nutmegger here, I’m a big fan of the short period in fall when the air is just crisp and the sun is reflecting the beautiful colors out there. I used to live in the Northgate area of Briz and hopped the train into the Valley for work. Our building was a stone’s throw from all of the exotic car dealerships there and heard some sort of V12 screaming every day.
The cold is coming here in Maine but we're getting one more 70 degree day tomorrow, the last of the good roadster weather for the year. We'll be taking the roadster for a ride around Mt Desert Island and Acadia National Park and end up in Bar Harbor for a late lunch. Hope to get some nice pics. Took this one when I was out running errands yesterday-
Been blessed with a few nice days here…75 and sunny today…put some gas and stabil in went out for a rip
70+deg yesterday, 40deg this morning! We took advantage of the nice weather and spent most of the day cruising around Mt Desert Island, Acadia Nat'l Park, Bar Harbor, etc. A nice end to roadster season, though I'll still bundle up on winter days and take her out if it's sunny and dry.
