simple shackle question.

i need to order a few bits for my A.
what i dont understand is hoe shackle width is measured.
my spring is 1-3/4" wide. my spring plus bushing is a total of 2" wide- 1-3/4" spring plus an eighth worth of bushing either side.

do i need 1-3/4" or 2" shackles and perches?
im guessing its 1-3/4", but i want to know for sure before i order.

your spring is 1-3/4" wide , then you need 1-3/4" perches and shackles

 

thats exactly what i needed to know, thanks very much.

 

The bushings don't stick out at all on my A front end, it's all 1 3/4".
