I bought a steering arm from so-cal and a ball from 3rd gen in TN.
I can now use a stock drag link (or one that is the correct length)
Is it safe to flip the steering arm, and mount the drag link underneath? I don't know how secure those model A link ends are.

They are secure if set properly and the cotter pin is in. The ones on the pitman arm are sideways and they don't fall off.
