    Rex is correct, but do NOT peen the rivet or you have just screwed up the accuracy of your tape.

    Payback would be to cut 1/8" off of their tape because they won't notice it being so obvious.

    My Dad did that trick in WWII, on airplanes, with as many as 28 cylinders. He said the SOP would take hours to find the missing cylinders. They would fire up the cold engine for a short time and feel the exhaust pipes to determine the missing cylinder, in a lot shorter time that SOP. Time was important.
