I bought some very simple hubcaps on ebay, they were cheap cheap. I was amazed when they not only fitted my Hillman Minx wheels, but complement the shape perfectly. Only thing that would have made 'em better would be if they were chrome. I think Pops came with painted hubcaps antway so maybe they'll just get left painted black. Mart.
Mart - Just this past weekend I scuffed and painted a couple of repop chrome V8 caps black and popped them on the black wires on my car. My thought was "this should look pretty cool and you don't ever see anyone do it." Oh well. I think they look good painted.
The look like they were made for those wheels, Mart. Sure would look great plated on fresh-painted (ivory?) wheels . . .
